Family Support Studies provides education and training to students currently working or desiring to work with individuals and their families using family support principles and premises within a framework of prevention. The approach nurtures families’ healthy development by looking at families’ strengths, connecting families to community resources, and supporting and empowering parents to become advocates for their families.
