Visual Media

Seattle Central College ETPL
The Visual Media program is a rigorous 2-year, lockstep program which leads to an AAS degree. It provides the framework for a strong portfolio in photography and commercial video production. The focus is on professional photo and filmmaking skills, career preparation, and industry standard post-production software and techniques. Students will examine concepts, solve creative problems, and push the boundaries of traditional media using the power of still and motion imagery. The program also integrates emerging technologies and keeps students current by continually evolving our curriculum to respond to industry needs and standards. Students will work both individually and in small teams to craft creative solutions from aesthetic conception to final application.
