Nursing Assistant Training

The nursing assistant program at WVC provides the basics in caregiving skills for entry-level employment in health care. The certificate program is offered as a 10-week course each quarter. Upon completion, students are eligible to take the certification examination for nursing assistants. This course, or its equivalent, is a prerequisite to the nursing program.
