The primary administrative assistant program specializes in the development of verbal, written, and records management skills relating to receptionist/secretarial duties, and includes proficiency in software programs and equipment commonly used with this profession. Each student receiving a certificate must complete coursework and master each course with a minimum of 80 percent competency. Upon completion of this program, students will be able to perform skills needed to acquire an entry-level position as an administrative assistant, receptionist, office assistant, secretary, or paraprofessional in a clerical setting.
