Pierce College ETPL
Graduates of the paraeducator program are well prepared to support the learning of the diverse student population in inclusive educational settings. Paraeducators work with teachers to facilitate small groups, support students with special needs, and help children meet learning and behavioral goals. Paraeducators often assist teachers with classroom preparation, and may also supervise and assist students in library, playgrounds classrooms and resource rooms.
