The Master of Arts in Addiction Studies Program gives you the opportunity to work toward the educational requirements for certification as Substance Use Disorder Professionals in the state of Washington. In this program, you can obtain a degree in Addiction Studies using sixteen approved credits from another accredited behavioral-health specific program (e.g. Psychology, Social Work, or other counseling graduate-level credits), masters level credits or degree program within the past three years. The total number of credits needed to graduate with this degree is 56.
Bachelors degree from a regionally accredited university, A calculated GPA of at least 3.0 in the last 90 quarter or 60 semester graded post-secondary credits, 16 graduate-level credits from a regionally accredited university in psychology, counseling, or social work.
