We’re expanding opportunities for students interested in business careers by introducing a Business Direct Transfer Agreement (DTA) Degree pathway designed to take you further, faster. At Bates Technical College, we’re committed to helping you reach your long-term goals. Based on student interest and employer demand, we are transitioning from the Applied Business Management degree to a transfer-focused pathway that prepares you to continue into a bachelor’s degree and beyond. Students can pursue a 6- quarter Business Direct Transfer Agreement (DTA), a flexible and powerful option that: Transfers to universities across Washington State. Prepares you for bachelor’s degrees in business, management, marketing, finance, and more. Keeps your options open as your career goals evolve. Aligns with employer demand for advanced business skills and credentials. This change reflects what we’re hearing from students and industry: more education, more mobility, and more career growth opportunities. This pathway prepares you for a wide range of careers in business and leadership, including: Business Management, Project Coordination, Human Resources, Marketing and Sales, and Entrepreneurship. By continuing into a bachelor’s degree, students can access even broader opportunities, including leadership and management roles across industries.
