All applicants will be required to interview with the Electrical Construction (ELCON) panel. Interviews will be conducted at the end of the Summer and Winter Quarters. The interview will consist of seven questions, similar to those asked in Electrician Apprenticeship interviews. Each interviewee will be scored independently by the panel members based on a standardized rubric, ensuring a fair and impartial evaluation process. Selections will be based on these compiled scores, with offers to enroll extended to the top scorers. The number of offers will vary depending on the available places in the program. All applicants must bring a resume’ to the interview. Applicants will be required to take an entry-level English and math test, modeled after the apprenticeship test. High school students must bring their high school transcripts and be accompanied by a guardian during the interview. Is this program approved to train veterans?
