This program was developed to meet the ever changing needs of the information technology fields. In addition to the state-of-the-art telecommunications instruction, the program includes networking and data communications instruction. These telecommunications and data networking fields are merging, and Clark College's classes reflect these changes.Labs emphasize hands-on experiences. Equipment in the labs comes from, and is supported by, industry. Cisco Systems, a leader in the networking industry, supports the program with curriculum and equipment. The Data Networks and Telecommunications program is unique in the region and is recognized by industry as providing a comprehensive, application-oriented, learning experience. Our program provides convenient class times for working people. It also provides continuing education opportunities.
